Faculty Information

Dr. Denison is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. He spent the first twelve years of his education in Catholic Schools – Saint Agnes Grammar School and Central Catholic High School. Central is an all male high school run by the Franciscan Brothers. After high school, he attended and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education with an emphasis in mathematics.

In 1994, Dr. Denison and his wife moved to Fort Myers and he began teaching math at Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers. Three years later, he went back to school to get his master’s degree in Educational Leadership at Nova Southeastern University. In 1998, he moved into the role of Dean of Student Discipline at Bishop Verot. He was Dean for five years, then transferred to Saint Ann School in Naples as the Assistant Principal.

In November 2003, he returned to Nova Southeastern University in hopes of earning his doctorate degree. In 2004, he returned to Fort Myers and entered the Lee County School system. He was hired at Dunbar High School to serve as the Assistant Principal sharing in the responsibility of discipline, facilities, and the athletic director. In 2005, he returned to the Diocese of Venice and joined the Saint Elizabeth Seton School Community as Principal and in 2008, he became a part of the Saint John Neumann Community as Principal as well. In June 2007, Dr. Denison earned his doctorate degree in education with a specialization in human resource.
