Prayer Life of our Campus

• Each week students are brought to our Campus Chapel in their Theology classes to spend 8-10 minutes developing a prayer life. Prayer is a conversation with God and all students are encouraged to develop this in silence or by guided meditations and by living out the devotions of the Church such as Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Stations of the Cross, The Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and The Liturgy of the Hours.
• All students are called to live the Sacramental life of the Church, by participating in the School liturgies, Prayer Services, and Penance Services.
• Students are encouraged to make frequent visits on their own time before or after school to our Chapel and the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle or to visit our Campus Chaplain for spiritual direction.
• Prayer is also used before and at the end of the school day and in each class as we begin our class periods. Saint John Neumann students, faculty, staff, and guests gather for prayer each morning in the courtyard.
• Teachers and students participate in retreat experiences throughout their years at Saint John Neumann.
