BECOMING AN APPROVED VOLUNTEER

Several people have emailed asking how to become an approved volunteer. The Diocese requires that volunteers wishing to help with campus events during school hours be approved through the Diocese. This is a two step process that requires you to be fingerprinted and attend a Safe Environment Training.
The next scheduled Safe Environment Training classes offered: Call the parish office at the number listed to register
  • Thursday, October 12  6-8pm St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Naples 775-9576
  • Saturday, October 14  9:30-11:30am St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Naples 775-9576
  • Thursday, November 2 6-8pm Ave Maria Parish, Ave Maria    261-5555
  • Saturday, November 4  9:30-11:30 Ave Maria Parish, Ave Maria 261-5555
*The next trainings will be scheduled in Winter/Spring 2017-18.
Once you have completed the above process, please email me and I will follow up with the Diocese. Once I receive confirmation of your approval, I will add you to our Approved Volunteer List. Remember, if you have been approved through your parish, or another Catholic school in town, just email me and I can have your approved status transferred so you will be on our list as well.
